Policies
Please respect these policies when posting comments on my blog:
- Be respectful of others
- Don’t engage in flamewars
- Don’t spout nonsense you haven’t researched
- Fishing for peoples’ identities is not allowed
- Don’t try to “out” anybody
- Watch what you post about yourself if you’re subject to DADT
- Spamming is not permitted
Links and Backlinks
- Don’t try to offer a linking deal (”I’ll link to you if you link to me”). If I like your blog, I’ll link to you whether you ask or not.
- Regardless of the above statement, I’ll generally add a reciprocal link to you if I discover a link to A1in10 on your site. Just don’t beg. It’s unseemly.
- If you link to A1in10, please use the full title: “An Army of 1 in 10″ rather than a shortened form like “1in10″ or something similar. Nothing bad will happen if you don’t (well, maybe I’ll send an army of trained attack squirrels after you), but the whole purpose of linking is to send visitors to other sites, and the full title grabs the attention and curiosity of people.
- Another option for linking to A10in10 is to use my stealme:

- You don’t have to tell me that you linked to me (what, do you want an award or something?); I usually won’t tell you that I’ve linked to you. I’ll find out that you’ve linked to me soon enough, and in most cases, I’ll reciprocate.
- I will not join blog coalitions which mandate the inclusion of a large image on the front page as a condition of membership. As far as I am concerned, a simple text link is sufficient and I will not sully my front page with any image larger than a stealme.
Blog of the Week
The criteria for being named “Blog of the Week” are completely arbitrary, but I generally use the following guidelines:
- Intelligent and well-written
- Devoid of mindless ranting
- Humorous
- Not blatantly homophobic (i.e. if the author dislikes homosexual(s|ity), (s)he doesn’t make the dislike a primary focus of the blog)
- Contributes something positive to advancing the rights of homosexuals
- I like it
Most importantly:
I will consider blogs that are submitted to me by either the author or that particular blog’s fans, but don’t take it personally if I don’t name them (maybe I will in the future) as a BotW.
Copyright Information:
- All posts by me are copyright by me and may not be reposted elsewhere
- Trackbacks, pingbacks, and Fair Use exemptions are the only exceptions to the above
- Fair Use exemptions must not remove the context in which excerpts are used
- Comments belong to those who posted them
- Permission must be given by the comment authors to repost their comments elsewhere
- I reserve the right to edit or delete comments which violate the site policies
