FAQs

Okay so I don’t have any FAQs yet, but I’ll get this page started anyway. If people start asking me the same things then I’ll update this page with the answers.

  • Q: Why do you have two blogs?
  • A: You must mean this one and the one on wordpress.com. Army of 1 in 10 started over on wordpress.com, but as I very quickly found out, it wasn’t very customizable so it didn’t suit my needs. Now I use that one more to drive traffic over to here than anything else.
  • Q: What does “Serving in Unsilence” mean?
  • A: Because of 10 USC 654 (aka “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell), I am forced to lie about who I am and am banned from having any emotionally supportive relationships unless I want to lose my job. Since I’m unable to speak out effectively against this unconstitutional law without being discharged, I am doing so anonymously on the internet — being Unsilent.
  • Q: Aren’t you worried about getting kicked out?
  • A: Not really; I’ve taken sufficient measures to prevent my identity from being discovered, and it’s a bit of a thrill to post anonymously.
  • Q: Do you have another website and/or blog?
  • A: I sure do! It’s over on wordpress.com as stated above.
  • Q: Are you available?
  • A: I sure am, if you’re attractive, intelligent, in the right age range, and not a flamer. If you don’t meet these criteria, then no I’m not.
  • Q: The statistic that one out of every ten people has been debunked, so why do you use it?
  • A: Yes, I’m aware of that; but the fact remains, “one in ten people is gay” is strongly associated with homosexuality. Therefore, “An Army of 1 in 10″ instantly conveys the idea behind the site.
