Iraq — home, sweet home

I’m now in Iraq (actually, I’ve been here for coming up on two weeks now), and I’ve been getting settled in. I’m located in a relatively peaceful area (for the time being, anyway) that hasn’t had any major incidents in several months. The internet situation is such that I’ll be able to make regular postings without the concerns I had before.

So, stay tuned — I’m back!

Sorry I tried to get you a message yesterday but had trouble with the site. I just wanted to thank you again for being over there, and also for doing all you can to support other gays in the military. Keep up the good fight and get home safe when you can. the political scene here is starting to swing again in your guys favor but who knows how long that will last with elections coming up. Just know that I and many other believe in you and are proud of the work the military is doing.

I found your site today by coincidence and so far have really enjoyed reading some of the older posts. Hang in there, the deployment will be over before you know it and you’ll be home… Stay safe
