I remember those days well. Bill Clinton ran on a promise to abolish the military's gay ban. That was the reason I voted for him in '92. He also made other promises like using trade to advance human rights in China and treating drug abusers with medical therapy rather then jail time. Those were all issues I agreed on, but instead he: • established the moronic DADT policy • de-linked human rights from China trade policy and • continued on with the failed war on drugs that has our prisons releasing murders and rapist to make room for non-violent drug offenders That would be her spineless husband Bill’s doing.
